Assistant Attorney General Lynn Wittenbrink has been a member of the Office of the Attorney General since 1997, joining after seven years of general litigation practice in the private sector. Lynn defended a variety of constitutional, wrongful death and medical malpractice lawsuits in the Attorney General’s Public Safety Department for 18 years before transitioning to the UConn Health Center in 2015 where she continues an active litigation practice. She is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court as well as the Second Circuit and has enjoyed the many opportunities for both state and federal trial and appellate work in complex, multi-party litigation that the Office of the Attorney General has provided.
Lynn is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Law. She was a member of the Oliver Ellsworth Inns of Court, and has enjoyed coaching and judging high school Mock Trial for many years.
